• A leading tyre manufacturing company in the world, has a plant in the Western Indian state of Madhya Pradesh in Pithampur industrial area. This plant had been facing acute water crisis during the years1999 to 2002, when rains were scarce in the area.
   

• The company had more than twenty tubewells out of which only four produced water , and that too only 15000 (Fifteen Thousand) litres per day.
   

• When S.S.EXPLORATION ENTERPRISES were approached for
  survey, we subjected the area to a detailed scientific investigation and came up with ground water potential zones in the area.
   

• The points detected and recommended by us for drilling yielded more than 300,000 Litres per day, individually.

• A leading two wheeler company in India, in Pithampur Industrial Area, Madhya Pradesh, had a no. of tube wells for water supply to the plant. But the tube wells lasted only till February, even in the years of Good Monsoon with rain fall of 40 inches and thus the company always had to depend on the outside sources for meeting its water requirements.
   
• When S.S.EXPLORATION ENTERPRISES were asked to study the problem, we found that the plant area?s geology is such that the natural recharging of the Ground Water Resources is not taking place.
   
• After a detailed study of the Geology, Geomorphology, and Landuse pattern of the area, using Satellite Imageries and advanced ground water investigation techniques, we drew a plan for adapting a ground water recharging scheme through rain water augmentation.
   
• The scheme suggested by S.S.EXPLORATION ENTERPRISES was implemented , and???. The tube wells in the plant area ran through out the summer in the year when the rain fall was only 12 inches.

• The largest cement plant in India, situated in the typical drought prone area, neighbouting the Rajasthan desert, was not short of water always, because the excavated areas of Limestone quarries acted as reservoirs of water. Yet during the years of 2000, and 2001, when the rain fall was negligible, the plant had to purchase water from outside sources.
   

• It is a typical area where the usual depth of the tube wells is around 900 to 1000 feet, and even after that ground water may not be available.
   

• S.S.EXPLORATION ENTERPRISES, when approached by the officers of Vikram Cements Ltd, for exploration of ground water took this up as a challenge, and started the exploration with a regional study of the area.
   

• The regional studies, revealed typical ground water bearing zones , in the area, that were later confirmed by Geophysical studies.
   

• S.S.EXPLORATION ENTERPRISES then pinpointed the points for drilling and the tube wells drilled at these spots struck water at depths of 250 feet onwards. The tubewells produced 250000 litres per day individually.
   

• This project was of special importance to us , because various other consultants, including, govt. agencies had failed here earlier.
